True, I haven’t gotten too much written on the Short Story that I’m writing for this month. But I have gotten started on it. With this month almost half over already, it’s a good thing that I only have the one to do. Usually, I would be getting the WDC Short Story finished or about to get it written. but not this month. And like I wrote above, maybe it’s good that I’m only doing one this month.

Of course, I want to get the other one that I’m trying to write this month. But it’s not due until the middle of February. So, I don’t consider it another Short Story that needs to be written by the end of January. I’m going to be starting it soon. The sooner I start it the better. But it’s not something that I need to get done this month.

What does all this need to do with my writing? It means that I didn’t get too much writing done today either. Of course, I wanted to get more written. But I just haven’t gotten the time to do it. Mostly, it’s because of how busy my second day off has been. It’s also about what is going on with work. It hasn’t stopped me from writing. But it has slowed me down a lot.

Unfortunately, what I have written I don’t like very much. It’s okay. But I think that it could be a whole lot better. What does that mean? Will, I re-write it? That’s a very good question. It means that I don’t know if I will continue on with it from where I left off or I will re-write some of it. If not all of what I have written. I have five days to think about that.

After all, I’m going back to work tomorrow. I would like to continue on with this Short Story after work. And I do plan on doing it. But one thing or another stops me from working on it. As a result, I probably won’t be able to get any more of it written until next Monday or Tuesday. If I can even do it then. Something else that I plan on doing. But I may not be able to do it unless I force myself. And the results of that are usually disastrous if I do that.

The big question is will I continue working on it after I finish writing and posting this blog entry. Once again, that is what I want to do. And what I need to do. But I probably won’t. It’s not for the usual reasons, though. I am a little tired after a busy day today. But I’m not that tired. And it’s not because of a lack of sleep either. I got plenty of that last night. It’s because I think I need to think about this Short Story before I continue on with it. Whether I want to continue with it as it is or I feel that I need to re-write it.
