Very Busy, Busy, Busy

With only two more weeks before the end of this month, I’m not going to be able to do my second Short Story starting this month. I know that I have until the middle of February to finish it. But it’s up to thirty thousand words long. That’s a Novella. And I’m the kind of writer with short stories that like to get as close as I can to whatever the Word Limit is for that contest or challenge.

That only leaves me with one Short Story for this month. And I’m not even sure if I can get that one written before the end of the month. At least not with some writing on it after I get home from work or putting it on my OneDrive and writing it at work. I’m not desperate to do either one of those just yet. But I may have to do it. Will try to do them after work first. And if that doesn’t work, I will have no choice but to take it to work via OneDrive.

Why I’m I writing about not getting it written if I can’t do it on my days off? It’s because of what happened to me today. It was an extremely busy today. In fact, it was so busy that this is my first chance at getting on my laptop. And the only reason why I’m doing that is that I don’t want to be another day of no blogging.

Of course, I want to work on this Short Story. But I just don’t have the time to do it. This is one of those first days off from work. It was a very busy day for my brother and me. All of it started very early this morning. And it didn’t end until a few minutes before I started writing this blog entry.

That’s how busy it was today. And why I didn’t get any writing done today. At least I haven’t yet. But will I after I finish writing and posting this blog entry? That is what I plan on doing. But as for if I will do it, I don’t know if I will be able to do this. I may end up going to sleep soon after I finish posting it.

Not because of the lack of sleep last night. I got plenty of it. It’s because I’m still tired from all that has happened to me today. That’s why I probably won’t get any writing done today on this Short Story. I just hope that it’s not this bad tomorrow.

I already know that I got several things that I need to do tomorrow. And I don’t think that it will take me all day to do them. But it will take most of it. If I’m lucky, I may get them done by the middle of the afternoon. And if that’s true, then I should be able to work on this Short Story tomorrow. But I’m not going to count on that until it happens. I have thought something like this. And for one reason or another, I was wrong about that.
