Not as Good as It Has Been Lately

I don’t know what went wrong yesterday at work. But I only got about sixty single sentences written for the movie introduction for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. It wasn’t the lack of sleep. Because I got plenty of that last night. Then again, it may be partly that. True, I got plenty last night. But the last couple of days I haven’t.

During my two days off this week from work, I didn’t get a lot of sleep. Especially, on Monday. I only got a few hours. Tuesday wasn’t too much better. But I did get a few hours more than Monday. So, they could have attributed to the reason why I didn’t get too many single sentences written at work yesterday. I don’t think that it was a reason. But it could have been one of them.

If it’s not the lack of sleep, then what is usually the reason? There are normally two of them: the lack of concentration or how busy it got at work. I don’t think that it was work. After all, it was kind of slow yesterday at work. A lot like it used to be before the last couple of months. It wasn’t quite that good yet. But it was a whole lot better than it has been lately.

The only other choice is the lack of concentration. Unfortunately, that may be part of the reason why I didn’t get more written. I don’t remember losing my concentration at work yesterday. But I may have and not noticed it. Just thought of another reason. The weather can also be a factor. It was very cold yesterday. And we did have a big snowstorm
too. Not as busy as they thought it was going to be. But it did slow me down a little bit when it comes to my writing.

Whatever the reason is for me not getting any more writing done yesterday, I still have one partial Act, one full Act, and the Tag Act to finish before I’m done with Part Two of this movie introduction to my Water Wars television series. Normally, I would say that I will finish doing that today. But after yesterday, I’m not sure that I will. Whether I do or I don’t, I’m going to get as many single sentences as I can today too.
