Exactly Double
Exactly Double

Despite the first and last hours of my work shift yesterday, I got one hundred and twenty single sentences written for Part Two of the movie introduction of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. After that first hour, I was sure that I would be lucky if I finished this movie Scene Outline. But it got better after that.

True, it was still very busy for the next six hours of my shift yesterday. But not as busy as I thought that it would be. It was about the same as it used to be before the last couple of months at the end of last year. Kind of busy. But not too busy. Then the last hour was almost as bad as the first one. Maybe not quite as bad. But it was a close second. Overall, it was very busy yesterday at work.

I don’t know how I did it. But it’s true. One hundred and twenty single sentences are what I wrote yesterday at work. Ten for Act Three, thirty-five for Act Four, and twenty for the Tag Act to finish the movie introduction. Plus another twenty for the Teaser Act and thirty-five for the first episode of this series equals one hundred and twenty. That is exactly double what I did on Wednesday.

Hopefully, I can do the same today. And I think that it’s possible. After all, I did it yesterday during a weekday there is no reason why I can’t do it again today. True, it was a Thursday instead of a Friday. And Fridays are usually a lot busier than Thursdays. But that doesn’t mean it can’t happen again. A lot of that depends on how busy it gets at work and if anything happens for who I work for.

Don’t think that I have a problem with who I work for. My new Site Supervisor may hate me. But he needs me. I’m the loyalist officer there. And I think he knows that. In the three and almost a half years, I have only taken two days off. The first one I wanted to switch with someone else. But instead, I was taken off the schedule for that day. My next one was only a few months ago. And I used my PTO for that day. So, I didn’t lose any pay like I did the first time.

As for work, it could stop me from getting too many single sentences written for this project. I only need one hundred and twenty-five to end the first episode of this television series. Work may slow me down a little depending on how busy it gets there. But it won’t stop me from writing. My guess is between seventy and a hundred and five. That’s for Act Two, Three, and Four.

If I can do the Teaser Act too, then I will get my one hundred and twenty-five single sentences written. And if I do that, that will end the first episode of my Water Wars television series. I doubt that I can be this lucky two days in a row. True, I have done that once or twice before. But I don’t think that it will happen this time. I hope that it does. I’m not going to count on it until it happens, though.
