Today is the start of the second half of this month. That means I have two weeks to finish writing my second Short Story for this month. It may not be easy to do. But I think that I can do it. In a way, I have already started doing it. True, I haven’t had much time to work on it the last few days. But I do know which Short Story this prompt reminds me of.

I’m still a little fuzzy when it comes to this Short Story. But I’m starting to remember it. Now all I need to do is write it down. And I have almost two weeks to do it. Considering half of a week is usually the only time I get to work on my short stories, four days isn’t going to happen. I will probably need to work on it after work too. Most likely, that isn’t going to happen this week.

I can get this Short Story written by the end of this month. But I will have to work on it after work since I don’t have too much time to write it. Just checked the calendar. And I don’t have four days. I only have three. So, I will need to try to work on it after work after all. Still am going to try to not do it this week. But I may have to do it if I want to get it done this month.

Hate having to wait until the last second to enter a contest. But sometimes I have no choice. This may be one of them. Especially, with this contest. Almost every month I only have a week or two to remember a Short Story and to write it. It hasn’t been easy to do. But I have done it. My WDC Short Story takes top priority. But this and any other short stories I want to write that month are important to me too. Just not as much as my WDC Short Story.

My WDC Short Story for this month is the reason why I haven’t been able to work on my second one too much so far today. Don’t get me wrong. I have worked on my second one. But not as much as I thought that I would be able to do. With only about nine hundred words to finish my WDC Short Story, I figured that I would have some time to work on my second one today. That didn’t happen.

What is the usual reason why I don’t get as much writing done as I want to get written? That’s right. It’s because of what I needed to get done today. It didn’t take me a long time to do them. But it took enough time to slow me down on my finishing my WDC Short Story for this month. True, it may have slowed me down a little bit. But it didn’t stop me from finishing it. Which I have done.
