Finally, Another Short Story to Write

I’m not sure. But if I remember correctly, it was last Wednesday that I finally got another prompt for the other contest that I have been entering lately. It may have been Tuesday, though. maybe even Thursday. But I don’t think it was Thursday. I think that it was Wednesday. Whatever day it was, I got my prompt.

Unfortunately, I’m not a Romance/Love type of writer. It can be part of a story every so often. And I think that I may have written one or two. Probably by accident if I did do it. I can understand why this prompt happened this month. After all, Valentine’s Day is today. Just wasn’t sure if I could write a Short Story based on this prompt. Especially, a Science Fiction one. But I think that I have done it.

It took me a little bit of time and thinking before I decided on which Short Story to write. Not because I didn’t have one to write. In fact, it was just the opposite. like my WDC Short Story for this month, I had several of them to choose from. I just wasn’t sure which one I was going to write. It took me several days to think about it.

I finally decided which one I was going to write. But unfortunately, that’s about all I have done with it so far. True, I know what it’s going to be about. And how I was going to write it. But that’s all that I have done so far. Why haven’t I got farther on it? It’s because of my WDC Short Story for this month. I need to finish writing it before I can start writing this one.

Unfortunately, I haven’t finished writing my WDC Short Story for this month. I still have about nine hundred words to write before I finish it. As far as I know, I don’t have anything that needs to be done tomorrow. If that’s true, I should be able to get this Short Story finished. I’m just not sure if I will be able to create it tomorrow. I should be able to do it. But after everything that has happened to me lately, I’m not going to count on anything until it happens.

If I can get it written, then I can start with my second Short Story. With only two weeks left this month, I don’t know if I can get it done or not. I should be able to do it. And I think that I can. But once again, I’m not going to count on anything until it happens.
