Another Twenty-Seven

Twenty-seven single paragraphs for the first episode for my Water Wars scriptwriting project may not read like a lot of paragraphs. But I think it was because of where I did it. I did it at work yesterday. And it took me almost my whole shift to do it. Think I may have had about an hour left on my shift to start the episode two Teaser Act if I wanted to do it.

I decided not to try to do it because I didn’t think that I would have gotten all nine single paragraphs written. And I don’t like to split up an Outline in the middle of an Act. not finishing a scene or an Act in a script is okay. At least I think that it is. But I don’t like to do it in my Outlines. Yes, I have done it in the past. I may have even done it at the beginning of a new episode or part. But I still don’t like doing it.

For a Saturday, it was kind of busy at work yesterday. Not as busy as it has been the last three months. But it was still busier than normal. Despite that, I did get twenty-seven single paragraphs written for this episode. And that’s all I needed to get this episode finished. That’s another reason why I didn’t try to do any more writing yesterday at work. Because I don’t think I would have gotten more than three or four paragraphs written. It was that busy.

Today is a Sunday. And it’s usually a little bit busier than a Saturday is. If that’s true, it will be kind of busy today too. But I won’t know that because I will probably be at my old post all day today. It seems I work a full shift at my old post every other week. Today is the day I work a full shift there. Every other week it’s a split shift. If that happens today, I probably won’t know how busy it was there.

I will know what post I will be working in about twelve hours from now. Up until then, it’s up in the air as to whether it will be another split shift or a full shift at my old post. Either way, I will try to write at least another twenty-seven single paragraphs aka the first half of episode two. Don’t know if I will be able to do it. Especially, if it’s a split shift again this week. But I’m going to try to get as many of them written today as I can.
