Twenty, The Hard Way

Why do I call this blog entry the title that I have given it? It’s because I wrote twenty single paragraphs for Part One of my movie introduction to my Water Wars television series. Twenty scenes for this Scene Outline. No Establishing Shots. That’s why I called it this. That’s a lot of writing. At least I think that it is. Especially, considering I wrote it at work yesterday.

Don’t ask me how I did it. Because I don’t know. Once I started writing it, I couldn’t stop. The only thing that slowed me down a little bit was work. Of course, I had to stop writing when there was work to do. But it wasn’t that bad there yesterday. It was a tiny bit busy there. Not as bad as it has been for a Thursday lately.

What does that leave me to finish Part One? It means seven more scenes to finish Act Four. Then there are twenty scenes in the Tag Act. And the Establishing Shots. Probably four of them also. I probably won’t get them all done today. But I may get close to it with only about five to ten scenes. If I can get that many written, I should be starting Part Two about midway through my shift on Saturday.

If I can get to Part Two about halfway through my shift on Saturday, I have a very good chance of finishing the Teaser Act of Part Two too. It all depends on how many that I can get written today. And a lot of that depends on how busy it gets at work today too. If it’s a kind of normal Friday, I may not get at many single paragraphs written as I would like. But if it’s like yesterday, may get a lot more written.

Getting about thirty-one single paragraphs written in one day is very doubtful. Especially, since that day is a weekday. But I have done it before. If this was a weekend, then thirty-one is more believable. Still probably wouldn’t get that many. But it’s more believable. If I can get about twenty of them written, I will be happy. Whether I get fifteen to thirty-one I’m going to get as many of them as I can today.
