It Shouldn’t Be Like This

I did it again. What did I do? It was that I put a copy of this blog entry into the wrong folder on my laptop and cloud. I save a copy of all my blog entries to either Only My Scriptwriting or Other Than Scriptwriting. This one should have been Other Than Scriptwriting. But I saved it to Only My Scriptwriting first.

What does that mean? It means that I have two copies of this blog entry today. True, I haven’t started writing it since I did that. But it was still in the wrong folder. Now it’s in the right folder. And I can continue writing this blog for today. This is what I am doing right now. Why is this folder the right one? That’s a very good question.

It’s because I’m going by my old work schedule. If I was still working, there this would have been my first day back there. And what did I do while there if I could? I work on my scriptwriting. That’s why this blog entry should be in the Only My Scriptwriting folder.

Yes, I know that it doesn’t matter which folder it is in since I’m not able to work on my scriptwriting either right now. If anything, it should be in my Other Than Scriptwriting for two reasons. One is that I’m not working anywhere right now. So, I should treat each day as a day off from work.

The other reason is that I’m not trying to work on my scriptwriting right now. I’m trying to finish writing my WDC Short Story for this month. If I was working, then it would be my scriptwriting if I could do it. But since I’m working, I should be working on this Short Story. After all, it takes priority over all other writing.

Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten any more writing done today on my WDC Short Story. Why haven’t I done any writing today? It’s the same reason why I haven’t been able to do it lately. It’s either because I’m still too tired from the move to our new house or it’s because I’m looking for work. Unfortunately, it is the latter of the two.

Normally, I would try to work on this Short Story after I finish writing and posting this blog entry. But I can’t do that today. That’s because I already know I’m going to be getting up early tomorrow to get some things done that need to be done. As a result, I’m probably going to be going to sleep soon after I post this blog entry.
