The importance of women is obvious.
Without women, there can be no human race.
My favorite women are in bikinis today.
But, I like women in history.
I like women in the Bible.

Esther is an important Jewish figure.
She convinced the Arab king to marry her.
Then, she convinced the King not to slaughter all the Jews.
And all she had was her looks and a promise the Jews would do right by him.
That's very impressive.

It is important to remember that all the women in the Bible are written about by men.
It is most likely the Virgin Mary was illiterate.
