There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories.

Wrong, But in a Good Way
Wrong, But in a Good Way

Without checking last Sunday’s blog entry, I thought that I only got about seven single paragraphs written for my second Outline for the October Prep Challenge that I’m in this year. But I wasn’t. I did a little bit better than that. What I really ended up writing was the Introduction chapter and the first ten Chapters of this novel.

I did even better earlier today with a total of thirteen single paragraphs. Ten were for the next ten Chapters in this novel. The other three were for the Profile Chapter which separates the first half of this novel from the second half. Does that sound weird? It does to me after re-reading it. But that’s the way I write my novels.

Usually, I separate my novels with one Profile Chapter on the main character of that novel. Plus, a peek at the next novel in the series. But I’m not sure if there will be another novel or not. There probably will be at least one more because it ends with a question of why they have been trying to eliminate her too. And I will probably write that one too. But I haven’t decided if I will or not.

It most like depends on how well received this novel will be as to if I will write another one or more. If it is a success, I will be writing at least one more. I may end up writing several more. But I probably won’t. novels like this may generate another one or two, but not more than that.

Unless I do a backstory one or more featuring where she got started or what may have happened before this novel took place. Maybe just what she does as a Professional Eliminator with each Chapter being a different elimination. The possibilities are out there. So, anything is possible. But most likely it will only be one or two more written.

What does that mean for tomorrow? It means that I only have ten more single paragraphs to write to end this Outline. That includes nine more Chapters and the Conclusion of this novel. Once I get them finished, I will be ready to start the more complicated third Outline. Why is it the most complicated one of the three?

It’s because each Chapter, Introduction, and Conclusion have been broken up into five parts. And each part is a single paragraph. That’s why it will take me a lot longer to write. Maybe too long to finish it by the time it’s due for this challenge. I think that I can get them written in time. But if not I should be close to finishing it.
