Still Not Sure Which One
Still Not Sure Which One

I have remembered several different Science Faction, I mean Science Fiction, short stories that I could write for the WDC Short Story Contest for this month. I’m just not sure which one will give me my best chance of winning this contest. Even though, I’m not going to win it. Especially, if one of those judges is the one who has banned me from any of their contests because I’m not like everyone else here.

A good example of that is the first sentence above when I use the correct genre for my Science Faction, I mean Science Fiction, short stories. See, I did it again. I can’t help myself. I write the truth with it comes to Science Fiction. That’s why I call it Science Faction. I’ve already compromised on a lot of my writing for these contests and challenges. I’m not going to do it for this too.

Enough of my ranting and raving, it’s time to continue blogging what this blog entry is really about. That I haven’t decided which Short Story I’m going to write. Today it probably doesn’t really matter, though. After all, it has been a very typical Monday aka my first day off from work. I haven’t had too much time to work on this Short Story anyway. That’s how busy it was for my brother and me today.

From early this morning until just after the sun went down, for the day my brother and I have been busy doing one need after another. It wasn’t a whole lot that needed to get done today. But what little needed doing took us most of the day to do it. It wasn’t all that bad regarding this Short Story, though. Mentally, I may not have started physically starting this Short Story. But I have thought about them a lot.

I have been thinking a lot about these potential short stories that I’m going to write for the WDC Short Story Contest for this month today. Mentally, I have already written all of them. Now all I need to do is decide which one I’m going to write and write it. And with this month almost half over already, I need to decide which one fast. Like yesterday fast. If you know what I mean.

One way or another, I will decide which one I’m going to write before tomorrow. If I don’t do it before I go to sleep tonight, I will think about it, maybe even dream about it, and decide when I get up tomorrow. That isn’t the only Short Story for this month, though. It’s just the most important one. There is one other Short Story that I can write this month. I’m just not sure if I’m going to be able to write it.
