An Archive of poems I have written

Stress
Too much, too fast, too loud,
The voices echo in my head,
Even when I leave the crowd,
And all the words have been said.

New things to learn,
Problems to solve,
Certificates to earn,
Projects to close.

My list grows longer,
Deadlines get shorter,
Stress levels stronger,
Bosses give no quarter.

My head is exploding,
I am near to the edge,
Sanity is corroding,
Will I break my pledge?

I go for a run, into the wild,
The miles bleed the noise away,
Decisions form and are compiled,
Leaving space for me to pray.

The sky sucks the stress from me,
Its openness a space so large,
I am at peace and my head is empty,
My body spent I am recharged.
