An Archive of poems I have written

Carve a chasm
Carve a chasm where my world can fall, as the old order breaks,
Pieces drop into darkness, an abyss that never fills.

In the blackness search for light, for something to hold onto,
Now that even ancient ruins are missed in an empty landscape.

The light comes slowly, dawning, within and without,
Like sunshine that resonates with the core of who I am.

I read the patterns in His book and reach for Him in desperate prayer.
He fills the void, remakes my world: mountains; rivers; fields; and forests.

Birds sing wild animals roam, life returns green and blooming
I find towns and cities, friends and family, love is all.
