There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories.

A Second One-Third
A Second One-Third

Normally, I would be switching folders from ‘Other than Scriptwriting’ to ‘Only My Scriptwriting’ because I went back to work at midnight earlier today. I usually work on my scriptwriting when I’m at work. At least I do if there isn’t another reason not to do it. This was one of those reasons. The way I’m feeling I didn’t think I could get any scriptwriting done I probably would have ended up re-writing anyway.

So, instead, I decided to continue working on my first Short Story that I’m writing this month. I figured it might be better than working on my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual, and I was right about that. I was hoping to get my WDC Short Story finished earlier today, but I didn’t expect to do that. After all, it was another two-thirds that needed to be finished aka about thirteen hundred words.

I was hoping to get another one-third written earlier today at work, and that was what I accomplished. Even around six hundred and seventy words weren’t easy to do because I was fighting a cold. A fight that I was losing. I did it, though. With about an hour to spare. That means I could have gotten started on the last one-third, but I chose not to do that because I didn’t think I would get too far on it. I figured it would be better to finish this Short Story tomorrow.

That leaves me with another decision to make for this weekend. Do I start working on my second Short Story for this month or do I continue to work on my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual, for two days? I know what would probably be easier to do. That would be to work on my second Short Story for a couple of reasons. One the sooner I get it done, the better. The second one is it’s just like today. I don’t think I can get too much written on my scriptwriting because of the way I’m feeling.

Another reason is that if I did try to work on my scriptwriting project this weekend, I would have to work on my second Short Story on my days off. That didn’t work out too well this week. It probably won’t be for next week either. I will probably end up working on it next Thursday and Friday morning too. What I’m thinking is it would most likely be better to do this second Short Story this weekend. Then I can try to get over this cold during my days off from work.
