Didn't Quite Finish It
Didn’t Quite Finish It

Unfortunately, I didn’t quite finish my WDC Short Story for this month. I still have about a hundred words to write for it. Then I have to get it ready to create and eventually post it to this contest. So, my decision about whether I was going to go back to scriptwriting this weekend has been decided for me.

I was probably going to start working on my second Short Story for this month anyway, but now I don’t have too much choice but to do it. True, I still could go back to my scriptwriting. After all, this finishing should only take about an hour or two to finish up. Maybe about three at the most.

I’m not going back to my scriptwriting project for only a couple of days. Not even that now. Instead, I’m going to start working on my second Short Story for this month. I don’t know if I can get it done tomorrow at work. But with a twelve-hour shift, I may have a chance to do it.

It all depends on how soon if finish with the first Short Story. If I can get it ready for creation in a couple of hours, that leaves me about nine hours to finish my second Short Story for this month. I could get it done in nine hours, but I’m not going to count on anything until it happens.

I think that I can get it done tomorrow. If I do, then I don’t know what I’m going to do Sunday. Will I go back to my scriptwriting after all, or will I take a day off from writing? That’s a decision I don’t want to make because either way, I lose. Will just need to wait and see about that one.

Like I just wrote, I may get the second Short Story written tomorrow, but there is a very good chance I won’t too. After all, I am still fighting a cold and losing this fight. It’s the reason why I have decided to work on my short stories instead of my scriptwriting this week at work.

I’m not feeling too bad right now, but after I get to work that will probably change. Especially, toward the beginning of a new daytime. The first few hours of my shift the last couple of days haven’t been too bad, but the rest of it has been. That’s why I didn’t quite get done with my WDC Short Story for this month.

Will I get my second Short Story written tomorrow at work? That answer I don’t know yet. All I do know is that I will finish my WDC Short Story for this month. I will get my second one started, but it may be Sunday before I can finish it. That isn’t even a given because of the way I’m feeling this week.
