No More Scriptwriting

No, I haven’t given up on either one of my scriptwriting projects that I have been working on since the stone age. I have just given them up for today. True, I could have worked on one or both of them, but I couldn’t figure out which one to continue with, and I didn’t want to work on them both. One at a time is okay, but two can be a bit confusing. Mixing characters and storylines. Too much of a temptation to really make a mess that I will have to clean up later on.

I wasn’t exactly sure which folder to put this blog entry in. Should it be ‘Only My Scriptwriting,’ or ‘Other Than Scriptwriting?’ It could go into either one. Normally, it would go into ‘Other Than Scriptwriting’ because it’s my first day off from work, and I usually work on my short stories, poems, etc. on my days off. I can’t do that this week or next because I have already finished my short stories for this month.

True, I haven’t entered either one of these contests yet, but I have almost two weeks left to do that. I will probably do that next Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of next week. Could wait until Thursday or Friday, but that’s too close to the end of the month. Too much of a chance I won’t be able to enter these contests for one reason or another. I will probably do it early next week. That gives about a week for some more reviews on them.

So far, I have only had only one review, and that was for my ‘Mentally and Physically’ Short Story. Hopefully, I will get at least one more review for this Short Story. I’m also hoping to get a review or two from my second Short Story for this month, ‘A Different Kind of Qualimn.’ Not counting on any more reviews until I get them. after all, I usually don’t get too many reviews on my short stories. If I’m lucky, I may get one or two reviews, but that’s about it for me.

Of course, I would like to get several reviews for each of the short stories that I write, but that’s not the way it works for me. I’m usually lucky if I get any. Unfortunately, there have been a few times when I didn’t get any reviews at all. That may be the case once again with my second Short Story for this month. with about a week left of this review cycle, I still may get some reviews on both of these short stories. I just doubt that I will.

Got kind of sidetracked again, didn’t I? this blog entry is supposed to be about my scriptwriting and if I got any done on it today. Unfortunately, the answer to that question is no, I didn’t. If I had been able to get some writing done on one of my scriptwriting projects, it would have been the second one, The Final Ritual. I just didn’t have time to do it. It has been a very typical Monday. From early this morning until almost until I started writing this blog entry, I have been doing whatever needed to get done today.
