What happiness means to me:
It doesn't mean I'll not be sad,
Nor not be depressed or even angry.
It means that in spite of what is going on in my life,
I will still have peace.
Happiness is fleeting; enjoyable, yet
Not self-sustaining. Stubbing your toe
Makes you realize that.
No I enjoy happy times, like anyone else;
I just cannot base my life on being happy.
I must choose a Fruit of the Spirit - one that has durability.
I choose peace.
