A new month already! How time flies.

One of the things I found when looking at different definitions of happiness was the following saying:

The golden rule of happiness is that “the more you make others happy: the happier you will be”.

At face value, it sounds good. But I'm not sure that is exactly true. I know of people who have spent their lives trying to make others happy, and they aren't happy themselves. I believe that you can have balance - Put others before yourself, but that doesn't mean to the exclusion of yourself. You cannot pour from an empty jug. It has to be replenished regularly to be able to pour out for others.

Just saying. LOL.
