Barely Finished Today
Barely Finished Today

It has not been a very good day for my writing of the first of hopefully two short stories for this month. I barely got my WDC Short Story done today. That only gives me three days to finish my second Short Story for this month. Actually, it’s a little bit worse than that. I’ve only about two and a half days to finish it. Can I do it? That’s a very good question. The answer to it is maybe. If I’m lucky.

Why am I writing two and a half days instead of three? After all, I got three more days off this month to finish writing this second Short Story for this month: tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday, and with Tuesday being the end of the month I don’t have as much time as I wanted to finish writing this Short Story. Unless I want to risk not being able to post it in time for this contest. I don’t like to wait until the last second to post something.

Unfortunately, it has happened before. I have waited until the last second to post an entry, Short Story, etc. Only to not get it posted in time for one reason or another. Luckily, it hasn’t happened too many times before, but it has happened. I hate that when it happens. I’m not going to let that happen again if I can help it.

There is one other thing that I can try if I really want to get this second Short Story written before the endline Tuesday aka WDC time. I don’t really want to do it, but I may have no choice. Luckily, I may have that chance. At least I think that I do. Not the choice but how I’m going to do it. Also, if I can finish it.

What am I trying to write about? I don’t know if I can do it or not, or if I can even do it, but I may be able to do is write this second Short Story at work. Physically, I could do it. After all, I found a way to do it with my scriptwriting. There’s no reason why I can’t do it with this Short Story too.

I still may not be able to do it. Physically, I may be able to do it, but mentally I may not. What am I writing about? It’s about whether I can write my second Short Story while at work. As long as it’s handwriting, I should be able to finish this Short Story by Tuesday. The problem is handwriting it. Physically, I can do it, but mentally I don’t know how well it will turn out. It may turn out good or it may turn out bad or worse, very bad.

Finishing this Short Story at work can be done at work. Normally, I wouldn’t be writing that because I still have scriptwriting to work on at work. I still do have a whole lot of scriptwriting left to do on my first two scriptwriting projects. Not to mention my third and fourth ones. I’m at a crossroads with them though. What I’m trying to say is that I’m only ten single paragraphs away from finishing my Scene Outline for my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual.

Once I get that done on Thursday morning, I will be ready to start writing the script for this movie. If I decide to go with writing the script right now. I probably won’t do that just yet. I still have at least one Outline to finish with my Water Wars scriptwriting project before I can do any scripts for it. I’ll probably finish that before I start doing any scripts.

I was going to do that starting Friday morning at work, but under the circumstances, I could work on my second Short Story for this month instead of working on my scriptwriting. There wouldn’t be any problems with doing that if I could take my laptop to work, but I personally can’t do that anymore. As a result, I have to handwrite my scriptwriting, short stories, etc.
