A Doubtful Tomorrow
A Doubtful Tomorrow

Earlier today at work started out well, but it didn’t end too well. It only took me about two and a half hours to finish writing my single paragraphs for Episode Four of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Because of work, I didn’t get done until about three-thirty this morning. That left about six and a half hours to work on my updates.

Six and a half hours should have been more than enough time to finish working on my updates for this project. It wasn’t. Not even close. I thought it was going to take about an hour to do each one. If I could have done that, I would have had about a half hour to spare earlier today. Unfortunately, I was way off on that phase of this project too.

It took me about an hour to check the single sentences for my Act Breakdown and my Story Outline for both Part One and Part Two of my Movie Introduction for this television series. After I checked them, I used my single-sentence Story Outlines to check my Scene Outlines. I did that for both Part One and Part Two too. That’s where it ended, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, the single sentence Story Outlines checking with the Scene Outlines took me another half hour to do. It’s no wonder that I only got the single paragraphs checked for Part One of this Movie Introduction. I’m not exactly sure where I’m at in Part Two, but I think I’m about to start checking Act Two. If that’s true, I’m one-third way into this Part.

If that’s true, it took me about three hours to do Part One of these Update Checking, and around two and one-fourth hours for me to do what I have done with Part Two. One-fourth is an estimate. It could be a little bit more or less than that. Either way, I look at it, I still have about forty-five minutes to finish checking the single paragraphs for Part Two of this project.

In other words, it’s taking me about three hours to do each episode of this television series. Around three times as long as I thought it would be. What does that mean about tomorrow? It means I doubt I will be finished checking out these episodes tomorrow as planned. If I’m lucky, I may get two or three more episodes checked out tomorrow at work.

I didn’t think I would have had too much time to start my Scene Outlines, but I thought I may have a little bit of time. Boy was I wrong about that. It doesn’t look like I’m going to be able to do that until Friday or Saturday of next week. After all, I still need to make the corrections that these checks have found, and so far there are already quite a few of them.
