P6. Interesting discovery in your closet or cupboard (go look and find something)

I thought I had lost a sweater. And then I thought I had lost a pair of pants.

Some history here would help. We are in the midst of remodeling a room. It is a small room. It will become an office for my husband and contain a nice closet when it is finished. But for some reason, it is taking over a year to finish this ***** project. So as a result, my clothes are in different areas of our home. My dresser is in the dining room, with other furniture, including my husband's desk, the dining room table and chairs, the outside tiled table for the porch, a small chest and a small china hutch. There are clothes in a small closet I share with hubby in our bedroom. There are also clothes on hangers upstairs and in another dresser upstairs. So, every day, I have to think, where is that ...? Let me think.

But, silver lining, as I decided to look for these lost items, we cleaned our bedroom closet. Long overdue. And lo and behold! There is that sweater! I purchased this black wool sweater at an Eddie Bauer outlet store in Ohio at least 25 years ago. That store I am sure is no longer there, and I'm pretty sure they no longer make this sweater. It's traveled many miles and is still in like new condition. It's precious to me. Yay!

Then, since we were on a roll, we decided to move a shelf upstairs and there were the pants. Now these I just bought this year from Duluth Trading. Nice snow pants, fleece lined. Handy to have when it's cold for 5 months here. They were not cheap - so yippee!

We not only did two projects, but found two lost items and sent a large bag of unwanted clothes to the thrift store.

It was a good day. Hubby had to take a nap. I think I wore him out.
