While reading
Robert Harris’s Epic History

Of Cicero
One of the greatest politicians
Of the ancient world

I was struck by how
Very little has changed
In this world of ours

To quote the classic song
“As time goes by”

It's still the same old story
A fight for love and glory
A case of do or dies
As time goes by.
