There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories.

If It's Anything Like Today
If It’s Anything Like Today

Unfortunately, it looks like I may be writing at least one of these short stories I’m trying to write this month at work. Why am I writing that? It’s because I haven’t gotten too many sections/parts written for my WDC Short Story for this month. I have only written three of them so far this month. That means I have eight more to write.

I’m going to try to write one or two more parts/sections after I finish writing this blog entry and posting it, but I have said that before and haven’t done it. That’s what I want to do. To write one or two more sections/parts for my WDC Short Story for this month before I go to sleep tonight. I’ve written that before too and for one reason or another I haven’t been able to do it.

Why didn’t I get more written today? What is the usual reason why I don’t get more writing done than I wanted to get done? That’s right. It’s because of what my brother and I had to do today. sometimes, there isn’t too much we need to do, and sometimes it’s a lot. Unfortunately, this is one of those days we had a lot that needed to be done today.

It took us almost the whole day to do what needed to be done. As a result, I didn’t get too much writing done today. If this keeps up, I may be lucky if I get two short stories written for this month. I want to do three, but I may not be able to get all three of them done this month. The only possible way I may be able to do it is if I do one or two of them at work.

I don’t want to do them at work for two reasons. One reason is that I need to handwrite them. Not only does that take some time to do at work, but I need to transcribe them when I get home from work. Besides, my handwriting takes up a lot more word usage than it should. As a result, it takes me a lot longer to write it because of all the rewriting of it.

The second reason is that I want to devote my scriptwriting project to the days that I work. I can’t do that if I’m working on my short stories. I’ve had to do it in the past several times, and I don’t like it. Will do it if that’s what I need to do, but hopefully I won’t. I don’t think I will, but there is still a very good possibility that I will need to do at least one of them.

I’m not going to panic quite yet about writing one or two short stories at work, but there is a very good possibility that that’s what I’m going to need to do if I want to get all three of them written this month. It may all depend on how many I can get done before I go to sleep tonight.
