Only One Left This Month
Only One Left This Month

Normally, I would be done with my short stories for this month. After all, I usually only do two short stories per month. That isn’t true this month, though. I’m trying to write three short stories. Two of them are finished. That means I only have one more Short Story left to write before I can write that I’m done for the month when it comes to short stories.

After the day I had, I’m kind of surprised I finished writing this second Short Story. That’s because my brother and I had a lot more that needed to get done today than I thought that we needed to do. I knew about this morning, but I thought that I would have this afternoon and evening to finish writing this Short Story. I was mostly wrong about that.

I did have enough time to finish writing the last four sections/parts for this Short Story, but not as much time as I thought that I would have. As a result, I did get it finished, but I haven’t created it or posted it to this contest yet. Of course, I haven’t created and entered the contest for the WDC Short Story Contest either.

With two more week worth of days off aka six days left this month, I still have plenty of time to finish this Short Story and do not need to finish writing it at work. There is a drawback though. I don’t want to wait until the last second to create and post these short stories. That means I only have one week left to finish writing them.

If it’s like the last couple of weeks, that shouldn’t be a problem in finishing this third Short Story next week aka during my days off from work aka Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It also means that I shouldn’t need to finish it at work. That is still a possibility, but if I do need to finish it at work it won’t be this week. It will be next week if it’s needed.

Speaking of my writing while at work, I can finish writing this third Short Story at work if I need to do it, but I hope that I don’t. After all, when I have time to write at work, I devote that time to my scriptwriting projects. I have finished writing a Short Story or two at work before, but I don’t like to do that. Luckily, this week I don’t need to do that.

What matters right now is that I got my second Short Story written for this month. It also means that I only have one more Short Story to write this month, and I have six days to write it. Well, only one week aka three days to finish it if I can, and I think that I can. I have done them for the last two weeks. There is no reason why I can’t do it again.
