Two More for a Friday
Two More for a Friday

I had another hiccup earlier today at work. It wasn’t that bad of one, though. Can’t say what that hiccup was, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. All I can say is that resolving it didn’t take too long. It also didn’t slow me down when it comes to my writing either. If it slowed me down at all. I don’t think that it did, but it may have slightly.

Especially, since I got twenty-five single paragraphs written for my Episode One, Some of the Adults, of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. that included fourteen single paragraphs to end my Teaser Act, nine to begin my Act One, and the two Establishing Shots that started Act One. I got them all written in one weekday aka a Friday.

The first half wasn’t as good as yesterday when I got seventeen single paragraphs written. It was only about sixteen, but the last two were the Establishing Shots. So, it wasn’t that much less. It was a little bit less, though. Overall, it was less. The second half was just the opposite of yesterday. Again, it wasn’t that much better, but it was better.

Nine numeric single paragraphs in about two and a half hours may not read like it’s very much but considering where it happened and the time it happened, nine is very good. After all, it was a Friday morning when things started to get busy there. It never gets really busy during the weekday, but it does start to get busy. Especially, the last couple of hours of my shift.

This first episode may have started out a little bit slow. The first of my episodes usually do, but once I get past that personal problem, it goes a lot smoother and faster. It was like that with this episode. What does that mean for this weekend? It means I should be able to get about ninety more single paragraphs written by the end of this weekend.

That’s about forty-five a day. Around forty-three numeric single paragraphs and two Establishing Shots. At least that is what I have been averaging for the last weekend or two. I have been getting forty to forty-five single paragraphs written each day. There’s no reason why I can’t be doing it again this weekend. Of course, work could stop me from doing it.

I usually don’t have too many problems on Saturday or Sunday. So, getting forty to forty-five or more single paragraphs written normally isn’t a problem. It can be, though. That’s why I’m not counting on getting that many until it happens. I never know what’s going to happen at work. It could be a normal Saturday and Sunday, and it might not be so typical.
