Yummy Strawberry

Craving something red and sweet;
How I wish I were at home again;
Oh, to still be a child!
Right back at my mother's table,
right when she'd made a treat.
Young and bright-eyed once again,
I'd be patiently watching her,
And impatiently smelling the aroma
of strawberry jam so sweet!
