Climbing out of my Head
Slowly, slowly, the fog gives way.
Step by step, out of the shadows.
Carefully navigating the path
That leads me out of my mind.

The quietness startles me;
I'm used to a cacophony.
Unsure of how to proceed -
On this journey of mine.

The strangeness of my surroundings
is not lost on me.
How will I handle the changes?
For now, I will tread cautiously; introducing myself to me.
