Trischedamm-Spitze
I walked the concrete footpath
That stretched for miles into the sea
The salt marsh on my left, a birdbath
For creatures of the sky, so free

The hail stung my face
As I walked into the lightning storm
Yet I quickened my pace
To my fears, I would not conform

Distant windmills span quickly
I could hear the wind roar
The patter of hail so prickly
Birdsong made my heart soar

Finally, I found sunlight on the tide
In watery desolation, horizons so wide
