Didn’t even try to use dictation earlier today because I don’t think I can do it. At least not directly into my laptop. I may be able to do it via a recording that I can play on my laptop. What makes that better or worse when it comes to dictation? It means that I can use an ear jack so that any background voices don’t get into the dictation part of it.

I don’t think I have a problem with background voice when it comes to watching television and movies on the tv because there’s something in the dictation system that stops that from happening. I know this because about a week or two ago, I saw the dictation icon, and I tried to use it. It was just a test, but it did work. At least it did for me again my television background voices.

It didn’t when it came to my brother who came into my room for one reason or another. As we talked the dictation was still going on. That’s how I know television background voices don’t show up on dictation, but someone else coming into the room does. My brother is the reason why I didn’t try to do any dictation today on my first Short Story for this month.

If my brother had heard me doing my dictation, he would have interrupted me about what I was doing, and once he starts talking he doesn’t shut up. He probably would have done it only once, but he still would have done it. It’s best if I try to do it this new way instead. I don’t know if this new way will work or not, but I’m going to give it a try. If I can do it this month.

What I accomplished today was to end my first Short Story for this month. Unfortunately, it took me almost the whole day to do it. That’s how busy it was for me and my brother today. From very early this morning until the middle of the afternoon, we were busy doing one thing or another. As a result, I didn’t have too much time to devote to these two short stories.

Unfortunately, I haven’t created it on WDC or entered this contest. With only three days away I will do it before the end of this month. Whether I don’t get my second Short Story transcribed or not. Which I may not be able to do. After all, I only have one more day off to do it, and I know that I have at least one thing I need to do tomorrow before I go back to work.

As far as I know, I only have one thing that I need to do tomorrow. If that’s true, I may be able to get most of my second Short Story for this transcribed into my laptop. I doubt that I will get it all done tomorrow, but if I can get about half or a little bit more of it done tomorrow, I may be after to finish it after I get home from work Thursday or Friday.

Usually, when I come home from work, I relax a little bit before I go to sleep. I may not be able to do that this week and month. at least not for Thursday. It all depends on how much I can get done tomorrow and how much I need to do Thursday and hopefully not Friday. If it was a normal Short Story, I may be able to do that in one day, but this one isn’t. After all, it has five hundred more words that I can use to write it.
