Rain Storm
Thunder claps its sploshy rain.
Watercolors on the pane,
sleepy moments mind can gain
hour's peaceful rest.

Loud, the Noisy harms the dog.
Space beneath me, she can clog.
Blesses much the household frog.
Ears, it true can test.

Humid is its aftermath
Wear your boots to find the path.
Joyful moments 'fore the bath
when we puddle jump.

After Math my science learned.
Humor words are lately turned,
though that living I've not earned.
Puns are in a slump.

Rumbling drums of cloudy Night
tempt the heart to feel the fright
Waiting hours, sun is bright,
then the day is clear.

Slinks away the monstrous sound
as a peace so new abounds.
Thirsty yards, relieved the ground,
passive moments here.
