Oh, light in the night
The sea is roaring
Exploring winds against
The shore

Against the darkness

Fishermen squinted eyes
Skin wrinkled by salt
And sun and rain
Explain the thunder

Oh, point on the horizon
Anchored on land
Like a mother beckoning
Her children home

To safety
