Picture this

picture of a lighthouse lonely
for inspiration it was shown me

Bright day no need of guiding light
but hard to see in dark of night

picture this I thought to myself
in a frame upon a high shelf

guiding lights for men at sea
to bring them home to you and me

days of old the lighthouses shone
but with GPS many are gone

solutions of the past
sailing forth in one last gasp
