Is Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT) a burden or a blessing for writers? And what are your thoughts on AI in general?
I guess it depends on what it is used for...if used to give ideas or prompts for writing, then I guess it is ok. But I've seen YouTube videos where some questionable lawyers used the ChatGPT to write legal briefs, using fictitious case law, and got caught doing so...not a good look for the lawyers.
I am guessing it is supposed to be an aid, not a replacement for doing the actual work. It probably could be fun, but it doesn't take the place of actual writing. I'm of a mixed mind about it, truthfully.
