Just Like Last Month
Just Like Last Month

This month is turning out to be a lot like last month. I have six days off from work to finish two short stories. Only have four more days to finish my WDC Short Story for this month without going into the six days off that are devoted to my second Short Story for this month. Don’t want to do that, but I may have to do it after today. Whether I want to do it or not.

Yesterday, what little time I had for writing, I spent setting up my WDC Short Story. Today, I was supposed to start working on it. I did start it today, but just barely. I only got the first section/part of it done. That means I still have nine more parts/sections left to complete this Short Story, and only four more days off from work to do them.

That’s at least two per day with one of them being three. After today, it doesn’t look too good that I will be able to get this WDC Short Story finished by the end of these four days. If that’s true, I have a very big decision to make when it comes to finishing it by the end of this month. Especially, if I want to get both short stories this month.

Doesn’t that sound familiar? It should, because I was in a similar situation last month too. I only had seven parts/sections to finish last month, and I did it in one day. There is no reason why I can’t do it this month too. It’s a little bit different this month, but it’s not that different. I think that I can do it again this month too. At least I hope that I can.

I don’t think that I can get nine sections/parts done in one day, but if I could get about half of them, that would be great. That would mean I would only have about four or five left to write next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The big question is can I get four or five parts/sections done tomorrow before I go back to work and continue to work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project?

It can be done. After all, I did it with seven last month. There is no reason why I can’t do it again this month with four or five. I’m not going to count on anything until it happens, though. I have thought that before. Only to have something come up to stop me from writing. Don’t think that’s going to happen tomorrow, but it may. Hopefully, it won’t.

Why didn’t I get more written today? What is the usual reason why I don’t get more writing done than I thought that I should? That’s right, it’s because of what my brother and I had to do today. we didn’t need to do too much today, but what we did need to do took us most of the day to do. I didn’t have that much time to get any writing done today.

I was just told by my brother that we don’t have anything that we need to do tomorrow. He has a few things he needs to get done, but we don’t. If that’s true, then I should have time to get a few of these sections/parts written for my WDC Short Story for this month. I don’t know if I can get four, five, or more parts/sections done tomorrow, but I will get as many of them done as I can.
