Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham
The Taste of Love

Hanna Wolfe, Daughter of Robert Wolfe,
Owner of the Wolf Family Farm,
Waited at the dock,
Where a raft was tied up.
She slipped a glass jar,
Containing a translucent brown liquid,
Into a storage hole.
Her mind filled with the taste,
The taste of
Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham –
Once a month,
Around the eighth,
The Wolfe family and friends,
Would gather to enjoy,
Big Meal Day,
Each werewolf eating,
A pig that was homegrown,
Glazed with syrup,
That had been made on the farm.
Everyone filled with love
And good food,
From Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

Tobias Wrangler, Son of John Wrangler,
Foreman and Head of Security,
Finished with his chores,
Grabbed some fishing poles, and bait,
And went to the lake,
Where Hanna waited.
He wondered if he could tell her
How much he loved her,
As the sent that drifted into his nose,
Was Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

As the hours passed,
The pair sat on the raft,
Catching one fish or another,
Their eyes soon caught,
The gaze of each other.
Old enough to be adults,
Young enough not to care
They decided to give things a shot,
To find out if what was said was true,
That Love was Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

The hours passed,
The fathers got concerned.
So they went to look.
Down at the shore of the lake,
The waves were telling their story.
Wise in the ways of life,
Robert and John could tell,
That very soon,
They’d be in-laws,
Much like Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

The sun eventually rose,
Bathing all with light.
The young lovers awoke,
And reflected in what they’d done.
Hanna wanted to go further,
And thus got out the jar.
Tobias took a look,
And told her to pour.
He soon looked like
Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

As Hanna’s eyes shifted,
From those of a Friend,
Into those of a Predator,
Tobias was very glad,
Werewolves didn’t see
Humans as food – usually,
Unlike those in some Fictional world,
That he and Hanna had read online,
For he was seen as if he was,
Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

Hanna gave Tobias a lick,
To enjoy that sweet taste,
As she opened her jaws,
And soon engulfed the human’s head.
Slowly swallowing him down,
Hanna was in such bliss.
Never would she have imagined,
That her best friend and lover,
Would feel so wonderful,
Like Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

Inside of his new lover,
Tobias began to squirm,
And heard Hanna moan with joy,
As each movement filled her
With a great deal of pleasure.
There was something magical,
To hear her sound like this,
As he moved around
Inside of her stomach,
With him being Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

Hanna enjoyed the feeling,
Of Tobias squirming around
Inside of her stomach.
It felt so much better,
Than what the stories described.
But then things took
A turn for the worst,
When the friendly squirms became
A Frantic struggle,
As if the Homemade Maple-Glazed ham was Alive.

That was when Hanna remembered,
An important lesson in Biology Class,
As well as one from another class,
If a Werewolf hadn’t eaten for twelve hours,
The first thing in its stomach,
Weighing at around ten pounds
Was seen as food.
Hanna had to hurry,
If she wanted to save Tobias,
And not have him be Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

Hanna got on all fours,
Opened her mouth,
And squeezed her stomach.
Slowly, out came two hundred plus pounds
Of a male human.
Noticing the redness,
She grabbed a washcloth,
And cleaned the acid off,
So he was fine,
Like Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

Tobias looked at Hanna,
Hanna looked at Tobias,
Both were filled with relief.
After making sure
That things were alright,
The pair went for a swim,
To wash the scent off.
They shared as kiss back on the boat
Glad that things didn’t turn out like
Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

Rowing into shore,
The pair caught their fathers on the dock.
After the raft was tied off,
The pair was lectured,
For worrying their families.
They were sent inside,
To wash up,
And get something to eat,
And thus breakfasted on
Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

After breakfast,
All through the day,
While doing chores,
The pair would glance at one another.
Overnight, things had changed them,
From Just Friends into Lovers.
They felt a longing
And the both had to wonder,
When next they’d be able to taste
Homemade Maple-Glazed Ham.

(This version of Hanna Wolfe and Tobias Wrangler, and their families, are from an alternative version of the John Wrangler Sagas. In this version, Humans live, relatively, peacefully beside Vampires and Werewolves, and rarely end up on a table, save for certain types of Funerals, as a form of Execution, or as a type of Murder. The mentioned versions of John and Robert met during a hunt, of sorts, that involved a bear, where John, like his mainstream counterpart, saved Robert from the creature. In this version, John was a Marine, who was given a Medical Discharge due to being seriously injured by the bear, while Robert is a cattle farmer. Other characters from the mainstream series have their own counterparts – some of whom are very similar, while others might be more dangerous.)
