Written for "EXPRESS IT IN EIGHT" ; TOPIC: WRITE A POEM ABOUT RUINS, PHYSICAL and/or EMOTIONAL.

An old insane asylum
stands on the edge of town,
Where the mentally ill
Were treated and cast down.

The building's in ruins
And it's haunted they say.
The insane they tortured
Still scream there today!
