One to Three More?
One to Three More?

Twenty-nine single paragraphs in one weekday isn’t too bad. Especially, considering I ended one script, and I started another one. That’s what I did earlier today at work. I only needed three scenes to finish Part One of my Movie Introduction for my Water Wars scriptwriting project.

I was right about that in two ways. One way was that I would get them done within the first two hours of my shift earlier today at work. The second way is that I figured there would be ten single paragraphs within those scenes, and I was right about that too.

As soon as I finished writing Part One, I started working on Part Two. It wasn’t that easy as it sounds. True, it wasn’t that hard to do, but it wasn’t all that easy either. What do I mean by that? It means that I keep my writing in folders. One Folder for Each Part or episode.

That’s not all, though. I’m also keeping the scripts in a folder by themselves. Unfortunately, I forgot to put a new folder in my writing supplies for Part Two. That wasn’t a big problem them. It didn’t slow me down any. I just needed to keep the three pages of it with my other supplies now.

I have already corrected that mistake. When I got home from work today, I got a folder ready to go to work tonight for tomorrow. That wasn’t what slowed me down in getting another single paragraph, two, or three more written today. It was the time it took to start Part Two.

Once I started writing Part Two, “Their Next Destinations,” I still had about three hours to write my single paragraphs and that’s what I did. In those three hours, I got nineteen more single paragraphs written. Only five were Establishing Shots. The other fourteen were within scenes.

Those twenty-four single paragraphs were within seven and a half scenes. I consider that very well written. Especially since most of it was written when it started getting busy at work. Overall, I think I did very well earlier today at work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project.

I only have fifteen and a half more scenes to write before I finish the Teaser Act for Part Two of this Movie Introduction. Since tomorrow is Saturday, I should be able to get this Teaser Act finished tomorrow at work. Should be able to get a little bit of Act One done too.

I’ve been averaging about seventeen to eighteen scenes per day on the weekends. If that remains to be the same this weekend, I should be able to get one or two scenes from Act One done tomorrow at work too. Of course, that will include a few more Establishing Shots too.
