Fall into shadow
Broken glass, smashed China,
Heavy footprints in my memory
Trampled paths and loud voices
Shoving, pushing, out of my way!
The man I was haunts me now
Like a loud voice, I want to ignore
Like a roaring motorbike at 3 am
When the world wants to sleep
Now I tiptoe slowly, careful
try not to leave a mark
I pass in shadows
whispers in the breeze
Avoiding eyes, hiding
Behind masks and then back up faces
Silently I slip through this world
Like a hint of mist in a dark forest
Forget my name, lose my memory
Only God can forgive what I have done.
