Nameless is a collection of short stories that can be read in one or two days (approximately 70 pages) about a wondering vigilante who has no memories, either lost or erased, except for the last two years. He has been commissioned by Ace, an unknown person, to kill specific people who seem to be above the law. The series consists of 12 books.

Book 1 of Nameless, In The Heat Of The Fire, is a riveting short story about a bloodthirsty sheriff who has a hunger for young (10 to 13) girls! He and his deputy have been terrorizing a small Texas town where justice has been buried along with their victims. That is, until a vigilante called, Nameless, arrives; his past is a mystery and his future is written in the blood of those who prey upon the innocent.

The story starts out informing us that anyone who crosses Sheriff Russell Soakes is either dead, missing, or warned. His newest target is a single mother who is trying to protect her daughter, but bracing herself for the worst. Nameless fears the outcome because he’s seen it in his visions. He's arived in this small Texas town to teach Soakes a lesson in fear. But, as he turns the predator into prey, Nameless may unearth a few secrets from his own past...
