I close my eyes to dream.
I see a man that I met once…

His hands showed how he worked…
Yet were, oh, so gentle to the touch…

His eyes showed the life he had lived…
Yet were full of unseen wonder…

His voice was strong and firm…
Yet caring and kind…

His words were full of wisdom…
Yet looking for untold meanings…

His kiss was short…
Yet full of passion…

His presence was brief…
Yet he will stay with my heart forever
