The Fetus is Mine
May 16, 2003

Well, it's been a long time. School is drawing quickly to an end. Today was the last day for seniors. I've got a week and three days left. Can't wait.
Of course, it brings to mind events of exactly one year ago. Does that happen to anyone else? Something as simple as a song, a smell in the air, the weather, or anything else, can bring back memories and make them seem more real than ever, almost as if for a moment I exist again in my past. Sometimes it's a very joyful, uplifting experience. More often then not though, it almost brings tears to my eyes. Not because I'm still fretting over the events of a year ago, but because, like I said, it makes me feel as though I'm there again.
Yeah, that's enough incoherent babbling. Writing.Com imposed some real bad limits on free accounts recently, and I cleaned a lot of old stuff out of my portfolio for the first time. I have them backed up on my own hard drive, of course. It's too bad though...I was looking forward to filling the last remaining space in my portfolio, but now it's gone. I'm considering moving my main online portfolio to my blog. After all, it's my hard drive anyways. It won't be as community-oriented or cool as Writing.Com, but at least I can get my stuff out there.
I can't wait til school is out.
Yes, that had nothing to do with anything before. It was very non sequiter. One of the first "Words of the Days" at school that I didn't know before. I always wondered about the meaning of the title of the so-named newspaper comic.
Anyways, I'm about done. I could say other things, such as my brother and friend's big rift with the police involving a contract for someone's life, but I'll not. Maybe later when everything clears up. Til then, recommended listening: Screaming Infidelities by Dashboard Confessional. Your hair is everywhere, screaming infidelities... Great stuff. Goodnight.
