Major Prayer Request
Okay....long day already.

First off, major prayer request. My youngest brother Chuck has
lived with some friends of his for a few years. His friend is Rachel
and her mom is Emmy. Emmy is a severe diabetic with numerous other
health problems. She has given up on life bascially, and she stopped
taking all medication about a week ago. And she hasn't felt good in a
few days. This morning, she woke up vomiting straight blood. Rachel's
boyfriend Jim called 911 so she could go to the hospital. By the time
she got there, she had lost a lot of blood, and had to have a transfusion.
While she was at the hospital, Rachel's boyfriend, Jim, was with their son,
Bradley. So, my brother and I went to stay with the baby so Jim could go
the local hospital. By the time he got there, she had had 2 blood transfusions,
and was going to be mercy flighted to ECMC. Chuck and I got a call that on the
way she had to have another transfusion. That is all we know so far. The
hospital has no idea what is going on, only that she is bleeding internally....

This woman has been Chuck's surrogate mother for the last 2 years, and he loves
her like he loves our mom. He isn't handling this well. Please pray for Emmy,
Rachel, Jim, Bradley, Emmy's husband Marty, and Chuck. The whole fmaily needs prayers.

Personally, I just spent the entire afternoon with Chuck, who came to us, and
asked us to pray for the situation. Something he doesn't do. So, we are taking this
to the hilt and asking everyone we know to pray. So please do.

All the while we are asking God to heal her and protect the family, I want to thank Him
for the fact that my brother came and asked for help. That we can actually help him and
family in their time of need. He has, once again, opened a door.

Thank you all for the prayers that I know you will so richly provide.

Love,
Beckie
