This poem is based on something that really happened to me and it was written for javajenn's Campfire.

Bulls For Sale

Bulls For Sale

Fine Black Angus herd
Grazing so contentedly
Lush green hillside

Seasons come and go
Nostrils glisten in the sun
Fall, Winter and Spring

The sight comforts me
When all worries arrive
I picture them there

One April morning
A sign - "Angus Bulls For Sale"
No herd to be seen

Assuming the worst
I sadly turn to go home
Hiding human tears

Another fine day
New additions to the group
Frisky Calves graze too

Faith restored, I smile
Maybe with a little time
Problems can be solved....
