In my view, the primary focus should be on encouraging the writers to write. I do not review items I don't enjoy anymore because I see it as a waste of my time. So, if you get a review from me, I enjoyed reading your work. The amazing thing about this whole process is that reading an inspiring review usually leads to me reading more of a reviewer's work also. So, it's a win-win.

something I do not like. I do not enjoy writing hyper-critical reviews. I do NOT believe that "honesty" is a synonym for "mean." If I see someone being "mean" here on the public reviewing page, in group behaviors, or just acting as a bully I will not send them my reviews. The only exception to that would be judging a site contest - there all items get honest (and hopefully diplomatic) reviews of the work from me with no exceptions.

I guess it is like being written out when we move when we are young. That is a creative use of the prompt. So is being written out of a soap opera plot because a character goes to jail. It's like too much evil has happened there.

I knew Eldora was trouble when I read that she had it in for dragons. Dragons can be such sweeties, much nicer (in some cases) than humans.

I liked the outcome and that it worked out well for everyone except the one who was mean. If only real life would be nice that like, but the mean ones aren't typically the obvious ones (like dragons). They mostly take on a human form at times.

I thought about how you conquer your reluctance to go on an under sea adventure. Your descriptions paint a vivid picture for me to imagine being there. I would never do this, but it's fun to imagine it all.

I felt sorry for the dragon, Rogan and was glad that the wizard gave in and helped him.

I liked how when they focused on helping others that things went well for them. The Wizard helps Rogan and he ends up with a good life. Princess Catherine puts Rogan before herself and ends up with a happy situation.

I thought about how much the world has changed in such a short time. It seems like steam engines have been a big part of that change, making transportation easier.

It is amazing to think about how much has changed so much, just in our lifetimes. Germany is smart to still use the steam engine. I sometimes think our country is too quick to change what works.

I loved how she didn't know she was poor. Adelaide went on faith and helped the lightning bug become her good fairy.

I like that fate takes the narrator into the doll shop to find the doll made with her in mind.

I liked the decision, at the end, to keep the origin of the doll a secret from the husband so he won't be hurt or jealous. It's not like she has feelings for "Scott" anymore. It's nice that the two women rise above what went on before and are friendly to each other.

I thought about what I would do with a windfall. I guess the only thing is I would get a reliable 2nd car so I have a spare one on hand at all times. I had two cars but one wasn't reliable.

The idea of cruising around in the Batmobile made me smile. I'm too old for it, but I still remember, singing the Batman theme while driving when I was a young and impressionable calf.

This is a scary adventure. It is a reminder never to trust anyone you don't know and don't trust some you do know, either.

I do believe that it was Karma involved. Leo seemed like a nice character, who maybe felt some remorse.

Going to Downton Abbey seemed like the highlight to me - that and being saved.

I thought about how for a potion to really work, it takes more than one individual taking the potion.

This makes sense when you stop and think about it. Was this a writing prompt or did you need to originate the prompt, too? You never know about side effects with a potion.

I am sure they had them in Game of Thrones, but I can't remember how they worked. Interesting to think about how it might work and the consequences of drinking such an impactful potion I reckon.

I thought about how the warrior and the dragon had something in common and that was what saved the dragon. Usually dragons are portrayed as monsters, but these are nice, warm hearted dragons with generous souls. They just want to live.

I liked how the humanity in the warrior reached out to the dragon and family with kindness and therefore, they were spared. It seems like the warrior will be blessed by his own kindness.

I think these are all good topics. I would wish for longer daylight in winter however they need to do it. Getting dark at 5 pm isn't fun.

I like the idea of one pill for everything. Big Pharm wouldn't be happy, but we would. The Hospice nurse said that Tom didn't need most of the meds he was on anyway. That was a big surprise to me. He wanted to quit with the meds and she said sure for most of them.

I take BP med and a statin and for acid reflux. If they could combine all that into one, it would be easier, less trips to the pharmacy. But then you have your vaccines like for Covid and against Shingles.

I need to get a new pharmacy and this is a reminder.

I think we all have twists and turns in our life that determine how things will be. Today is the solar eclipse. Where will be the totality of it? They don't seem to be sure so I wonder about people who travel to see it. It's hard to rely on news reports.

At first, from the name, I thought this was to be about the singer with the same name. But it is about another Reba, majestic in her own way.

This poem captures something profound about life. The price of feeling great love, is experiencing terrible grief. If we let ourselves care, we go through it.

Time helps, but one is never the same after such a loss.

I wish the journey was easier, but that's why there are grief counselors and grieving over anyone loved is like nothing else in life and it cannot be adequately described to those who haven't experienced it.

This is a fine honor for a beloved friend that will never be forgotten.

I think you are right when it comes to death. There is no change there.

I like the notion of residing in memory of what will be. It is comforting to think that it is all filling in spaces with what looks like change in the big picture, but seems like being the same when it is lived.

Life is a big puzzle to me while it is going on, but maybe if I can look back on the overall theme, it will make more sense.

Very thoughtful poem. You pack a lot of meaning into relatively few years. I like how you get to the point quickly and don't waste words.

I really like the idea of a flying car that runs on a small amount of water. It sounds like it has that Alexa thing in it, too so you can just tell it things.

This made me want my yard guy to have a flying lawn mower. Maybe he does have one and that's where it went to and why I didn't hear it go.

It's fun to think of inventions like this, especially if they make the world safer. I also like that the car is trained to go to favorite places like Kohls.

What does HOOves think about while perusing your item?

I like how you incorporate wanting a Mercedes into the country song sadness. I picture Kevin Costner at the bar. I once loved him in the movies, but now he is older and not as lovable.

What does HOOves moo appreciatively about while reading your item?

I liked that it's a man thinking a good woman can straighten things out. A good woman and a Mercedes. He's probably right, but past the point of finding one who will take care of him.

I thought about whether there really was a rumor. Then I thought about it and checked the contest and realized this was a prompt. My powers of deduction would tell me that she who gave the prompt might be the one. Why is that in her thinking?

You did a good job of looking around and peeking into our portfolios! I did not hear you creeping around so good stealth!

What does HOOves moo appreciatively about while reading your item?

Congratulations that you had the courage to do this and that you were the winner! One of my favorite things is to think of prompts, which is why I do it. Plus it's a distraction from endless grazing. Cows need to express themselves, too.

It made me wonder if Hector is my yard guy. Sometimes I think he does this sort of thing. It made me smile a little.

He likes to go home and so do I. It made me wonder if I should get a harmonica and a hacksaw. I have a riding mower, but maybe I need to add some H's to my collection.
