12 days After the end of the world

I haven't made it to Canada yet.

Texas will be missing their village idiot for another 4 years. And it still hasn't hit me.

I haven't watched the news, at ALL, since Nov. 3rd. I sat in the Dawghouse, watched Kerry's concession speech. Listened to this girl who's also in my Plants and Humans class talk about how sad she was. She was bent over for a while, said her stomach was hurting her, then she let a string of obscenties go. I felt her. And when they started showing the people holding up signs like "Thanks Kerry" I started wanting to cry.

And I'll be graduating and going into the job market when Bush is still president... that is... if I can
still afford to go to college...

Also, terribly scary that the ban on same-sex marriages passed in OREGON. In fact, that pretty much erases most of my hopes.
