Asprin works
The doctor put Robert on a baby asprin a day about a week ago, and apparently that one little tablet is helping the stroke situation. He didn't go on into a stroke last night or today.

Hospice changed his regular nurse and visitation schedule at bit. The new nurse came today (the schedule had been Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) and took all the info again. When we told her about the "warning" signs yesterday but that he didn't have a stroke, she said, "Good, the asprin is working."

I never thought of that.

She also said that calling 911 if he does go into one is a good idea.

Robert did well today, but as the day progressed and night settled in for the duration, he has slid backwards. He did too much and is too tired, I think.

Hmmm . . . never thought I'd be thankful for something so simple as a baby asprin.
