Sunday Sunday - Sitting on your bum day

Slug with a capital S this morning. Had horrible dreams again. In one I was having all my teeth pulled by a character from a soap opera and in another I was stuck at the top of an unstable post of some sort with no way down. Odd really, as the writing assignment I haven't done yet for this week has to be centred around horror and personal fears. I'd started a piece about claustraphobia but I'm not happy with it. Maybe I should include heights and losing my teeth somewhere! Anyway, still felt very tired when I woke up but could only doze for a while as my mind is too full.

Frustrating day yesterday. The 'Fix it' program I payed for online hasn't fixed the problem I was having. E-mailed them about it but doubt I'll get a reply now they have my money. Tried installing the latest Norton but that clogged up the system and slowed the computer down to a snail's pace. Much as I love computers they're a constant pain in the arse.

My dad has to go into hospital next week for a hernia operation. At eighty-five it's a big worry in itself but how my absent-minded mother will cope is another one. Seems I'll be spending the week running around between hospital and their house but I shouldn't complain. I will though! What is life without a good moan?

Mother's Day here. I love my son's card. It reads 'Have a very happy mother's day and I'm hoping you're glad I turned out the way I did... I could have ended up like dad.' lol Very astute my son and incidentally not much like his father at all. Thank God for small mercies. Oh well, time to get off my backside...oh the effort.
