Another late start, I'm turning into a dormouse. Still, it's raining and there's nothing important spoiling. My horoscope predicts my psychic abilities will be fine tuned today. My sister will be staying here tonight - I predict too much booze, too late in bed and a hangover tomorrow. Deja Vue.

I'm enjoying American Idol. (sad person I know) The right person went out last week but I was rather amazed that Simon is already predicting the winner when the remaining ten are all so talented. Does he have a hidden agenda? People of America I implore you, prove him wrong! Okay, she can sing, but I don't see what's so special about her unless you're male and have a weakness for pretty blondes! Meeeoooowwww, pass the saucer of milk.

Today is my first weigh in after starting the diet last weekend. I've been pretty good on the whole but I'm not holding my breath. So, if there are no more entries after this one, you'll know the scales went through the window and I've gone into hiding. Was that a cheer I heard?

P.S. My son just got up. He claims he's lost two pounds this week and informs me I need to take a 'dump' before stepping on the scales. Aren't sons precious? lol
