That is all I have on my list of things to do today - be a slob. I will not feel guilty if I don't get dressed today. I will not berate myself for not taking any exercise. I will ignore any dust or dirt that tries to force me into domestic activity. I've got a stinking cold and need to rest up and be lazy. Good excuse huh? Actually, there are one or two things I'll try and do, including making a start on clearing that devastation area known as 'son's bedroom' but it will be done at a very slow pace. Need to think about the writing assignment too, make some labels, burn a few CD's, but will not make myself rush. Haven't got a rush in me anyway. I'm sure someone has discovered the cure for the common cold you know, but if it were marketed all these companies that produce the 'soothing' stuff would go out of business. My doctor says they're all a waste of money; a bottle of whiskey is just as effective. Wise doc I have.

Watched some TV last night, had a bath then played a couple of games of online Scrabble. Hubby was doing his 'I accidentally fell asleep in the armchair' impression so I couldn't relay my activities again. As soon as he woke up he needed to know who I was playing. I wonder if he keeps a record of my games?

We've made an appointment with a solicitor after going to a talk which revealed we may not have made out our wills to the best advantage. If we change them in any way I think I'll ask for a clause to be put in his. "I wish to be buried and have the words 'Who Are You Playing?' inscribed on my headstone." I often wonder if I was born this sarcastic or if it's an acquired art.
